Jennifer is a multi-faceted and versatile attorney with deep and broad expertise in general corporate, real estate, and finance matters.
Jennifer has over 18 years of experience structuring and closing complex real estate and lending transactions. Primarily representing investors, lenders, developers and community development entities in transactions involving various forms of debt, equity and public financing, including federal and state new markets tax credits, historic tax credits, renewable energy credits and low-income housing tax credits. Jennifer has worked extensively on structuring complex transactions involving multiple incentives and syndicating tax credits.
Within the community development space, Jennifer has extensive experience advising clients during all stages of the tax credit finance lifecycle, from the initial planning and tax structuring, to negotiating and documenting the transaction, to providing post-closing compliance, restructuring and workout advice. Her community development projects include hospitals, manufacturing and production facilities, charter schools, homeless shelters, college and university facilities, mixed-use developments, office buildings, grocery stores, museums, as well as various other community-based projects.
In addition to public finance, Jennifer also regularly represents institutional lenders with construction, term, and revolving loans; sellers and buyers in the sale and acquisition of real estate; and investors in the acquisition of interests in real estate holding companies.
Outside of the office, Jennifer is an active horse enthusiast - riding, breeding, and showing American Saddlebred Horses.
